What is PPTP?
PPTP is simply a point-to-point tunneling protocol. This protocol is a brand-new enhanced protocol developed on the basis of the PPP protocol. It supports a multi-protocol virtual private network, which is commonly known as VPN, and passes the password transmission protocol and extended authentication. Protocol to enhance its security. Enable remote users to dial into the ISP, directly connect to the network or other secure networks to access the corporate network.
The most popular explanation is that it is equivalent to the bridge we usually take on the plane, connecting the plane and the waiting hall, and sending passengers (data) to the plane (network). PPTP is two cars together to send passengers to the plane. The first car is responsible for opening the road (to establish a safe passage), and the other to transport passengers (using the safe passage) to ensure that passengers can board the plane safely.

什么是PPTP?
PPTP，简单说就是点对点的隧道协议，这种协议实在PPP协议的基础上研发的一种全新的增强型协议，支持多协议虚拟专用网络，也就是大家俗称的VPN，通过密码传输协议、扩展认证协议来增强其安全性。使远程用户拨入ISP，直接连接网络或者其他安全网络访问企业网。
最通俗的解释，就是相当于咱们平时乘坐飞机的廊桥，把飞机和候机大厅连接起来，把旅客（数据）送到飞机（网络）上。如果没有这个廊桥，或者飞机停的地方比较远，那我们就需要一个或者多个摆渡车，这个摆渡车就是咱们所说的PPTP或者L2TP。
PPTP是两辆车一起把旅客送到飞机上。第一辆车负责开路（建立安全通道），另一辆运送旅客（使用安全通道）以确保旅客能够安全的登机。
